Centenary Gala Concert

Our Centenary Gala Concert took place on the 26th March in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire.

Strong performances from an array of students across the Junior and Senior School along with an appearance from the Cantori Choir created an outstanding production for the Centenary Gala concert.

From the first beat to the final bow the audience was captivated. The 170 students involved put on a magical performance with music and dancing of all kinds, including choral, ballet, pop and Irish Dancing all of which was supported by amazing staff conductors and accompanists. For the grand finale, the students and Cantori Choir, raised the roof with a powerful rendition of One Day Like This by Elbow which received a well-deserved standing ovation.

Both Mr Moore and Mr Dix spoke on the evening about our Centenary celebrations. They congratulated and thanked everyone involved for a most memorable evening – paying particular tribute to the students, teachers and Performing Arts Academy Director, Ms Crotty for all their hard work.
