Taster Events and Open Days
Getting a real sense of what is so unique about our school is so important.
That’s why we offer Taster Events and Open Days throughout the school year. We can offer as an alternative our Virtual Tour and would be happy to arrange a personal visit by emailing registrar@rathdownschool.ie
For children confirmed as starting with us in the next academic year a Taster Event is a wonderful way for them to experience life at Rathdown School first hand. Children take part in different lessons and activities in both smaller groups and full classes. Dates for our Taster Events will be announced to the relevant parents where appropriate.
Taster Events and Open Days are scheduled for the following dates:
| Junior School Taster Morning for 5th & 6th Class | 19th May 2026 (9.30 am - 12.30 pm) |
| Junior School Open Day | Date TBC |
| Senior School Open Day | September 2026 (exact date TBC) |
A visit during the school term on one of the visit day dates which can be found on this link is the best option since you will experience the school in full swing with students and staff going about their daily activities and classes. Please ensure you also complete the Declaration of Interest Form and email to the Registrar to have your visit confirmed.
As part of your visit, you may have the opportunity to meet with the Junior School Principal.
