Rathdown Junior School was the first school in Ireland to introduce the Mind Lab programme as part of its curriculum.
Mind Lab is an exciting initiative which puts children at the centre of all learning activities and engages them through games, where they are most receptive and enthusiastic.
By playing board games, the students learn new thinking skills, social skills and emotional intelligence skills.
A number of staff members are fully trained Mind Lab teachers and the programme is taught to all classes on a weekly basis.
